This Isn't Abstract.
Independent. Honest. Ours.
We're independent on purpose. Not left, not right, just honest about what incarceration does to Black families, budgets, and futures, and clear-eyed about what fixes it. Sean P. Jackson started this initiative because he lived it: he walked through the federal system and came out determined to tell the truth no briefing paper will.
So we put the receipts on the table. County-level numbers with sources. Plain guides on sealing a record and getting your vote back. And a standing invitation to anyone, of any politics, ready to do the work. Accountability and redemption aren't opposites. Our communities deserve both.

What We Do
The Receipts
County-by-county incarceration and reentry numbers, sourced and receipts-first. Broward leads, then Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and DC. The data nobody puts in front of you.
Your Rights, Unlocked
Plain-language guides to sealing a record, restoring your vote under Amendment 4, beating licensing barriers, and finding real reentry help near you. Know your rights, use them.
The Fight Ahead
What works, what it costs, what it saves, and where the fight is headed in Tallahassee and DC. Left and right, we go where the evidence goes.
No one should be reduced to the worst chapter of their life.
